How Service Areas Work
While it’s free to join for everyone, help requests are limited to members living in a Help Handed™ service area.
Limited Service Areas
We’re beginning our journey in only three states because building a meaningful help marketplace starts with strong, local connections. This regional focus gives us the chance to learn and adapt based on real experiences before expanding our service across the country.
Current Service Areas
Finding help is currently limited to residents of:
- Kentucky
- Indiana
- Ohio
In-person help offers are limited to the same communities, but anyone can offer help for remote help requests.
Future Service Areas
The need for help is everywhere, but our service isn’t useful without participation from members willing to help. So we follow your lead and expand into states where membership grows among potential volunteers.

Live Outside a Service Area?
